Terms and Conditions
Bossa Nova cafe
1. Booking Confirmation
- A deposit of 50% is required to secure all catering bookings.
- Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received.
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the event date.
2. No Refund Policy
- All catering payments are non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed.
- This includes deposits, partial payments, and full payments.
- Due to food preparation, staffing, and supplier commitments, refunds cannot be issued for cancellations.
3. Cancellations
- If a client cancels their booking at any time, payments already made will not be refunded.
- Cancellations made close to the event date may still require full payment if preparation has already begun.
4. Changes to Guest Numbers
- Final guest numbers must be confirmed 7 days before the event.
- Increases may be accommodated depending on availability.
- Reductions after confirmation will not reduce the final invoice.
5. Delivery and Collection
- Food should be delivered or collected 1 hour before the start of the event.
6. Date Changes
- One date change may be permitted if requested more than 7 days before the event, subject to availability.
- Payments already made may be transferred to the new date but remain non-refundable.
7. Force Majeure
- Bossa Nova Cafe is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, government restrictions, supply chain disruptions, or emergencies.
- In such cases, we will attempt to reschedule the booking where possible.
8. Agreement
- By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
