Catering Booking &
Terms and Conditions

1. Booking Confirmation

• A deposit of 50% is required to secure all catering bookings.
• Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received.
• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the event date.

2. No Refund Policy

• All catering payments are non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed.
• This includes deposits, partial payments, and full payments.
• Due to food preparation, staffing, and supplier commitments, refunds cannot be issued for cancellations.

3. Cancellations

• If a client cancels their booking at any time, payments already made will not be refunded.
• Cancellations made close to the event date may still require full payment if preparation has already begun.

4. Changes to Guest Numbers

• Final guest numbers must be confirmed 7 days before the event.
• Increases may be accommodated depending on availability.
• Reductions after confirmation will not reduce the final invoice.

5. Delivery and Collection

• Food should be delivered or collected 1 hour before the start of the event.

6. Date Changes

• One date change may be permitted if requested more than 7 days before the event, subject to availability.
• Payments already made may be transferred to the new date but remain non-refundable.

7. Force Majeure

• Bossa Nova Cafe is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, government restrictions, supply chain disruptions, or emergencies.
• In such cases, we will attempt to reschedule the booking where possible.

8. Agreement

• By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
